Mrs Lara Taylor-Pearce, FCCA, FCASL, is the Auditor General of Audit Service Sierra Leone (ASSL).
She joined the Audit Service Sierra Leone in 2007 as Deputy Auditor General after an impressive career in both the public and private sectors.
She was appointed and approved as Auditor General in November 2011, following the retirement of her predecessor, Mrs Anna Caesar.
She commenced her career as a Trainee Auditor in 1991 at the KPMG Peat Marwick Sierra Leone, where she rose to the rank of Supervisory Senior seven years later.
She entered public service with a stint at the Accountant General’s Department as Technical Assistant-Expenditure Control from 2000 -2002.
She transferred to the Public Sector Management Support Project in 2002 as Finance and Administrative Manager, and then as Principal Finance Manager and Head of Administration in the Institutional Reform and Capacity Building Project (IRCBP) from 2002 – 2007.
