The new building for Audit Service Sierra Leone is under construction at Tower Hill, Freetown. The building is being constructed by MODCON Construction Company.
The new building will have a total floor area of 4250 square metres and will have conference rooms, board rooms and restaurant facilities. It will also have 50 car parking spaces in the compound.
The new building will accomodate the office of the Auditor General, Deputy Auditors General and all staff working in Freetown.
Audit Service is presently occupying the second and third floors of the Lotto Building at Tower Hill in Freetown as its headquarters.
In addition, the Audit Service Sierra Leone occupies offices at the Youyi Building, Ministry of Works at New England, Ministry of Finance at George Street, Parliament Building and the Sierra Leone Road Transport Authority Building in Freetown.
The new building will bring together all the Audit Service Staff in Freetown by accomodating them at the new building.
It is anticipated that construction of the new building will be completed in 2014.
